Aankoper (Oosterweel - Antwerpen)

As an Aankoper at BESIX, you will play a pivotal role in the Oosterweel project, one of Belgium's most ambitious infrastructure endeavors aimed at enhancing Antwerp's connectivity and urban landscape. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering a greener, safer, and more sustainable city environment.

Your primary responsibilities include independently managing procurement processes within assigned project segments, from developing procurement strategies and issuing requests for proposals to conducting negotiations and finalizing contracts. You will collaborate closely with designers, planners, financial experts, and legal advisors to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines, technical requirements, risk assessments, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent experience, with relevant experience in procurement, preferably within the civil construction sector. Proficiency in Dutch and English is essential, along with familiarity with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and document control tools. A proactive, results-oriented mindset and strong communication skills are also crucial.
