Senior Werkvoorbereider - Civiele Werken (Oosterweel Project)
As a Senior Werkvoorbereider - Civiele Werken for the Oosterweel Project, you will play a pivotal role within BESIX's operations team, contributing to one of Belgium's most significant infrastructure endeavors. BESIX, a leading multidisciplinary Belgian group established in 1909, has a strong presence in construction, real estate development, and concessions across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Canada, and Australia. The Oosterweel Project aims to complete the Antwerp Ring Road, enhancing mobility and urban development in the region.
In this role, you will support the project team by developing and optimizing work methods, selecting appropriate materials and equipment, and managing logistics to ensure efficient project execution. Your responsibilities include evaluating and adjusting technical drawings from subcontractors and suppliers, assisting in the assessment of bids, and contributing to contract formation. You will also be involved in project planning, monitoring construction progress, maintaining project documentation, and serving as the liaison between external contacts and the on-site execution team.
The ideal candidate holds a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Civil Engineering or Architecture and possesses at least five years of relevant experience in civil works. Proficiency in Dutch is essential, and knowledge of English is advantageous. Strong organizational skills, technical insight, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are crucial. Competencies such as commercial acumen, effective communication, result orientation, planning, and problem analysis are highly valued.
