The role demands generating a high volume of sales-related activities, such as cold calls, meetings, presentations, and proposals, with a consistent focus on meeting or exceeding revenue quotas. Additionally, the Account Director is responsible for cultivating client relationships, providing solutions to their marketing and advertising goals, and expanding Viant's footprint within key accounts through cross-selling and up-selling the product portfolio.

Candidates should possess 6-8 years of experience in programmatic or ad tech sales, with existing experience supporting independent agencies considered a plus. A strong understanding of digital media, ad tech, data targeting, first-party data, platform sales, programmatic strategies, behavioral targeting, and optimization strategies is essential. The role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, quickly gain product proficiency, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. A consultative, strategic mindset with enthusiasm for prospecting new business and strong closing skills is also important. A bachelor's degree is required.

Viant offers a competitive base compensation range of $140,000 to $150,000, with final title and compensation based on factors such as work experience and education.
