Account Executive
Viant Technology is seeking an Account Executive to join our Minneapolis office. This role focuses on driving new business, increasing awareness, and expanding sales of our Demand Side Platform (DSP). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing the territory, engaging with major agencies and direct advertisers to promote Viant's solutions.
Key responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities within the Minneapolis market, consulting with clients to understand their marketing objectives, and aligning Viant's solutions to meet those goals. The Account Executive will generate a high volume of sales activities, such as cold calls, meetings, presentations, and proposals, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue quotas. Additionally, the role involves cultivating client relationships, providing tailored solutions, and expanding Viant's presence by cross-selling and up-selling the product portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in programmatic or ad tech sales with agencies and/or advertisers in the area. A strong understanding of digital media, ad tech, data targeting, first-party data, platform sales, programmatic strategies, and behavioral targeting is essential. Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be self-driven, and demonstrate proficiency in consultative selling. A bachelor's degree is required.
Viant offers a competitive base compensation range of $110,000 to $120,000, with final compensation based on factors such as work experience and education. Benefits include fully paid health insurance, paid parental leave, and unlimited paid time off.
