Account Executive
As an Account Executive at Diligent Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by expanding product adoption among existing customers and introducing new clients to our cutting-edge solutions. This high-impact, individual contributor position requires strategic vision, proactive relationship-building, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. You will be responsible for engaging prospects, managing a robust pipeline, delivering accurate forecasts, and closing deals, all while acting as a trusted advisor and strategist to our clients.
Key responsibilities include proactively building deep knowledge of Diligent’s products, solutions, strategy, and business priorities. You will be responsible for prospecting new and existing business within the designated vertical or territory, adopting a solutions-selling approach to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions. Building deep relationships with prospects and customers, developing and executing account plans to meet revenue targets, and collaborating with key stakeholders to drive integrated joint account wins are also essential aspects of this role.
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of success in account management, new business acquisition, and exceeding revenue targets, ideally within highly regulated industries, SaaS, or GRC space. Proven experience in sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Challenger, and Command of the Message is highly desirable. The ability to build trust and influence senior leaders and stakeholders at all organizational levels, a passion for continuous learning, exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, and a results-driven approach are critical for success in this dynamic, fast-paced environment.
