Staff Software Engineer (iOS)
Diligent Corporation is seeking a Staff iOS Software Engineer to join the Boards Mobile team at the Center for Global Product Innovation in Budapest. This role focuses on developing native iOS applications using Objective-C and Swift, with an emphasis on integrating AI-driven technologies and modern development practices to enhance mobile solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive in complex technical environments and collaborate effectively within a team dedicated to innovation in governance, risk, and compliance solutions.
Key responsibilities include taking ownership of technical challenges, defining and developing complex features that ensure scalability, reliability, and security, and translating business requirements into clear technical plans. The engineer will also integrate AI and automation to improve app functionality and developer productivity, conduct rigorous code reviews, and drive initiatives in tooling, hosting, DevOps, and quality assurance automation. Mentoring senior and mid-level engineers and contributing to high-quality system documentation are also essential aspects of the role.
Candidates should have over seven years of professional iOS development experience with Swift, including modern Swift Concurrency and UIKit or SwiftUI. A proven track record in shipping and operating large-scale iOS applications is required, along with experience in designing modular architectures and evolving legacy codebases. Strong skills in performance optimization, secure mobile development practices, API design, testing at scale, observability, and build and release engineering are also necessary.
