Strategic Account Executive
The Strategic Account Executive at Diligent Market Intelligence (DMI) plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing ones. DMI, a division of Diligent Corporation, provides governance, shareholder, and market intelligence data through SaaS platforms, data feeds, and analytics solutions. This position is integral to DMI's mission of delivering decision-grade intelligence to asset managers, investment banks, law firms, and corporate advisors.
Key responsibilities include managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure, identifying and executing upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and building strong relationships with senior and executive-level stakeholders. The role requires executing value-based selling strategies aligned with governance risk, shareholder engagement, and market intelligence workflows. Collaboration with Client Success, Marketing, Product, and Solutions teams is essential to deliver integrated customer experiences.
Candidates should have 5-7+ years of proven success in new business and expansion sales within complex environments, with a track record of achieving or surpassing revenue targets. Experience in selling complex subscription platforms or data solutions to senior stakeholders is essential. Strong consultative selling, discovery, negotiation skills, and executive presence are required, along with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Proficiency in Salesforce and a self-motivated, commercially driven mindset are also important.
The compensation for this role ranges from $114,000 to $142,800 annually.
