The Account Executive, Emerging Enterprise, Financial Services role at Braze focuses on managing the full sales cycle for both prospective and existing customers within the company's Enterprise segment. Key responsibilities include building and nurturing trusted relationships with C-suite executives at top-tier financial services brands, understanding their organizational complexities, and identifying and pursuing new strategic accounts through targeted prospecting and outbound efforts. The role also involves developing and managing relationships with high-profile accounts, implementing a consultative sales approach to address priority business challenges, and collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure a seamless client experience. Additionally, the Account Executive is expected to drive account expansion within assigned accounts using market insights and educate clients on industry trends, positioning Braze as a trusted partner.
Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in strategic SaaS sales, focusing on large enterprise financial services clients. A strong background in complex solution selling, value selling, and business value assessments is essential. Proven ability to source and prospect new accounts through effective outbound strategies, outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills, and quick adaptability to new cloud applications and tools, particularly CRM systems like are required. Strong networking skills to navigate large organizations and identify key decision-makers, as well as up-to-date knowledge on digital and application trends, especially in the mobile space, are also important. Willingness to travel as needed is expected.
For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $125,000 and $150,000 per year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $250,000 and $300,000 per year, including bonus or commission.
