Account Executive
Modulr is seeking a dynamic Senior Account Executive to join our London-based commercial team. This pivotal role focuses on driving growth by bringing our embedded payments solutions to market, enabling businesses across the UK and Europe to efficiently manage their payment processes.
As a Senior Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle for the corporate segment, from prospecting to closing deals. Your responsibilities include building and nurturing a robust pipeline across multiple verticals, conducting discovery sessions to understand customer challenges, and delivering tailored presentations that showcase how Modulr's solutions address real-world payment and infrastructure needs. Additionally, you will accurately forecast opportunities, achieve quarterly booking targets, and develop strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders in high-value accounts.
The ideal candidate possesses a curious mindset with a drive to explore how AI can make a real difference, commercial literacy in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and a consultative approach with the ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively. You should be comfortable navigating complex buying processes, be a self-starter who takes full ownership of results, and have 3-5 years of experience selling complex solutions to prospects. A proven track record of achieving quotas, managing multi-stakeholder deals, and excellent pipeline management and forecasting skills are essential. Familiarity with CRM tools and modern sales enablement tools, along with the ability to run structured discovery, build ROI cases, and articulate value propositions clearly, is also required.
Modulr offers a comprehensive benefits package, including participation in a Company Share Option Plan (CSOP), an annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance, and £1000 flexible benefits to suit your lifestyle, such as private medical insurance and gym membership. Employees enjoy 33 days of annual leave (including bank holidays) plus their birthday off, access to a wellbeing app with confidential support services, and opportunities for learning and development through our onboarding program and various channels. We also provide a bike-to-work scheme and encourage participation in company-wide events.
At Modulr, we are committed to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture where everyone feels they belong and can bring their whole self to work. We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds, believing it's the right thing for our people, our business, and the community we operate in.
