Account Manager I

In this role, the Account Manager I will be responsible for comprehensive account management, including customer setup, understanding production expectations, and ensuring on-time safe launches from sourcing to mass production. Key responsibilities encompass commercial negotiations, annual cost reduction discussions, quote submissions, tooling requirements and invoicing, engineering change management, and maintaining master price files. The role also involves acting as the main point of contact between customers and headquarters, managing engineering changes, and creating forecasts to support internal profitability targets.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and have over four years of experience in the automotive industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders. The candidate should demonstrate problem-solving abilities, the capacity to manage competing priorities, and the flexibility to work early or late hours for business meetings. Travel up to 5% domestically and internationally may be required.
