Sr Manager Content
The Senior Manager of Content at LG Electronics is responsible for overseeing product content governance, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all platforms. This role leads the strategy and implementation of Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, while managing technical writing and content operations to enhance efficiency and quality. Additionally, the position defines and delivers technical training programs, managing instructional design to enable internal teams and partners with effective learning solutions.
Key responsibilities include serving as the enterprise owner of product content, defining and enforcing content governance standards, and maintaining a single source of truth for product information and digital assets. The role also involves designing and optimizing product data models, managing external vendors to ensure system performance, leading the Technical Content Architect function, and driving continuous improvement of content systems. Furthermore, the Senior Manager leads the Technical Writing team, establishes content creation standards, and partners with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure technical accuracy and alignment.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field, along with over seven years of experience in content management, PIM/DAM systems, or technical enablement within HVAC, building technologies, or industrial B2B sectors. Experience in leading technical writing, instructional design, or content operations teams is essential. Strong expertise in content architecture, data governance, and digital platforms, as well as proven ability to manage vendors and influence cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed organization, are required. Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills are also necessary.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $175,000 USD.
