Development Engineer I - CONTRACTOR

This role offers an opportunity to contribute to our Vehicle Solutions division, focusing on the development and integration of vehicle infotainment and telematics products.
In this position, you will provide local engineering support for vehicle infotainment and telematics product development. Your responsibilities will include conducting vehicle integration testing and on-road evaluation of infotainment functionality and performance, verifying and reproducing reported issues, performing root cause analysis, and supporting issue resolution. Additionally, you will support technical communication and meetings with customers, including issue tracking and improvement activities, as well as software release and on-vehicle software updates. Collaboration with headquarters development engineers to review and coordinate improvement plans is also a key aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. A basic understanding of Android OS, Linux, and automotive software systems is essential. The role requires the ability to travel domestically up to 30%, including both domestic and international trips.
