Account Manager (ST)

The Account Manager (ST) position at Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman involves serving as the primary contact for clients, overseeing their daily financial and tax matters. This role is based in either Century City or Encino, California, with a hybrid work arrangement. The firm specializes in providing comprehensive financial services to high-profile clients in the entertainment industry.

Key responsibilities include preparing financial reports, projections, and budgets for clients, responding promptly to client inquiries, and coordinating with bookkeeping and tax teams. The role also involves managing cash flow by reviewing bank statements and approving transfers, monitoring credit card activities for potential fraud, conducting tax research and planning, setting up new client accounts, assisting with significant purchases, and handling various financial transactions and reporting requirements.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED with at least three years of experience in business management; an associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with four or more years of experience is preferred. Experience working with touring clients is essential. A comprehensive understanding of general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, insurance, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial statements is required. Familiarity with multi-state tax returns and proficiency in software such as AgilLink, GoSystems, and CCH Axcess are highly desirable. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software are also necessary.

The position offers an annual base salary ranging from $130,000 to $150,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may include an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
