Client Service Associate
The Client Service Associate at Focus Partners Wealth plays a pivotal role in delivering personalized financial planning services aligned with each client's goals and long-term priorities. This position involves close collaboration with Wealth Advisors to support and strengthen client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for operational and service needs. Focus Partners Wealth is a division of Focus Financial Partners, a leading financial services firm offering integrated wealth management, family office, and business management services.
Key responsibilities include delivering accurate and timely service to advisors and clients with a "one-contact resolution" mindset, taking full ownership of issues through final resolution. The associate will serve as the primary liaison among custodians, the operations team, advisors, and clients, providing end-to-end operational support such as account openings, maintenance, asset transfers, money movement, required documentation, and proactive follow-through on client- and advisor-initiated requests. Managing and prioritizing multiple advisor and client requests across various communication channels while maintaining clear, proactive communication is essential.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with at least one year of relevant experience, including internships. Strong self-initiated follow-through, time management, and problem-solving skills are crucial, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn other software and technology; experience with Salesforce is preferred. Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills are necessary, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while working both independently and collaboratively. A strong interest in financial planning and investments, with a desire to grow and develop in the role, is also important.
The annualized base salary for this non-exempt position ranges from $60,000 to $70,000, with actual base pay varying based on factors such as experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location, and the applicant's skill set. The total compensation package includes an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan. Focus provides team members the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule, defined as three days in-office work per week, with the option to work remotely two days per week, or as assigned by their team leader.
