Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman is seeking a full-charge Bookkeeper to join our team of dedicated professionals in London, UK. This position is based in our London office on a full-time basis, with potential for hybrid working following a 3-month probation period. The Bookkeeper is responsible for computing, classifying, and recording financial transactions to ensure the financial records of assigned clients are accurate.

Key responsibilities include raising sales invoices, maintaining QuickBooks online ledgers and electronic filing systems, processing accounts payable and receivable, performing credit card and bank reconciliations, posting petty cash and tour manager floats, creating payment packs for manager approvals, and posting directors' expense claims. Additionally, the role involves posting and reconciling intercompany accounts in local currencies, revaluating foreign currency balances at month-end, and assisting account managers with VAT return packs, tour accounts, management accounts, annual accounts, and gathering information for personal and corporate tax returns.

The ideal candidate will have experience within a bookkeeping position, ideally within a business management firm, and possess general accounting experience. Excellent communication skills, a sense of urgency, keen attention to detail, and the ability to quickly shift gears without losing focus are essential. Solid interpersonal skills, including time management, emotional intelligence, adaptability, active listening, and critical thinking, are also required. Experience with QuickBooks is highly preferred.
