The Accounting Manager at Kings Road Merch is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting financial reporting processes. Key responsibilities include supporting the monthly reporting process through account reconciliations, accruals, and other period-close functions. The Accounting Manager will also participate in the preparation of quarterly client royalty statements, assist with monthly sales tax filings, and oversee day-to-day accounts payable and receivable operations in accordance with the company's standard operating procedures. Additionally, the role involves creating and maintaining records of the company's sublicense revenue and related data.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of accounting experience. A strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, and familiarity with NetSuite or other ERP systems is preferred.
The position offers an anticipated annual base salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 USD.
