Accounting Operations Manager
Nabis is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Operations Manager to join our dynamic accounting team. As the #1 licensed cannabis wholesale platform in the world, Nabis supplies over $1 billion worth of cannabis products annually from hundreds of brands to retailers across California, New York, and Nevada. In this role, you will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Operations function. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to accounting operations, streamlining and optimizing cash application and payment reconciliation processes, and collaborating with the Engineering team to implement automation tools. Additionally, you will conduct regular training sessions for the accounting team, develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks, and coordinate various ad hoc accounting projects to ensure timely completion and accuracy.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in accounting operations, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required. You should possess a solid understanding of accounting operations processes, including cash application, reconciliation, and vendor payments, as well as a strong knowledge of the Order-to-Cash cycle. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other relevant tools is essential. Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment are crucial for success in this role.
