In this position, the Accounts & Audit Assistant will be responsible for preparing statutory accounts from client records, completing corporation tax computations, and performing audit duties, including scrutinizing client records and documenting findings under the guidance of the audit senior. The role also involves managing multiple tasks with different managers while adhering to deadlines and attending year-end stock takes to produce meaningful stock take reports.

Ideal candidates should be AAT Level 3 qualified or part-qualified, with a strong desire to complete the full AAT qualification. Applicants should have achieved a minimum of two B's and one C at A level or equivalent. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, strong numeracy skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel, are essential. Flexibility, commitment, and the ability to work effectively within a team are also important.

The compensation package includes a competitive salary ranging from £21,000 to £28,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits encompass study support (where applicable), a company pension scheme, healthcare scheme, and flexible working hours.
