AI Engineer

As an AI Engineer at Sharebite, you will play a pivotal role in integrating artificial intelligence into our meal benefits platform, which enables companies to provide meals to their employees while combating food insecurity. This position begins with a focus on full-stack development, allowing you to gain a comprehensive understanding of our systems, data models, and business logic, before transitioning into AI-specific initiatives.

Your primary responsibilities will include building and deploying full-stack features, identifying opportunities for automation, and designing AI agents and workflows using modern AI tools. You will integrate large language models into product workflows, ensuring they are reliable and production-ready, and continuously evaluate and improve AI systems based on real-world performance.

We are seeking candidates with over five years of full-stack development experience and at least one to two years of hands-on AI engineering experience, particularly in building and deploying LLM-powered systems. Proficiency with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or AWS Bedrock, as well as familiarity with LLM APIs, vector databases, and agent frameworks, is essential. Strong software engineering fundamentals and effective communication skills are also required.

The base compensation for this role ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 per year, depending on factors such as skill set, experience, and location.
