Product Designer
Sharebite is seeking a Product Designer to join our Design team, dedicated to creating intuitive and innovative product experiences in the corporate food space. As a Product Designer, you will own the end-to-end design of core features within our platform, transforming complex user needs into effortless experiences. This role involves close collaboration with Product Managers and Engineers to deliver polished, high-impact solutions that address real problems.
In this position, you will take ownership of specific features from concept to pixel-perfect handoff. Your responsibilities include translating requirements and user insights into initial wireframes, flows, UI concepts, and high-fidelity mockups. You will create interactive prototypes to validate ideas with users before engineering begins and work daily with engineering to ensure your designs are technically feasible and correctly implemented. Advocating for the user, you will use data and research to ensure we never ship friction.
The ideal candidate has over 2 years of professional experience shipping digital products, with a portfolio showcasing case studies and a strong foundation in user-centered design principles. You should be able to clearly explain the rationale behind your design decisions to non-designers and have experience creating wireframes, flows, mockups, and prototypes using tools such as Figma. A high bar for visual quality, understanding how typography, color, and space affect usability, and experience conducting basic usability testing to validate your own work are essential. Understanding user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and basic accessibility standards is also required.
At Sharebite, we are committed to providing competitive pay in line with industry and market standards. The base compensation range for this role is $95,000 to $110,000 per year. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, and location. Salary is just one component of Sharebite's total compensation package, which includes equity, multiple health insurance options, and a wide range of benefits, including a daily meal stipend.
