The Alternatives Associate will collaborate closely with the Wealth Management Team at Focus Partners Wealth, a leading financial services firm specializing in wealth, asset, and business management. This role is integral to managing alternative investment operations, ensuring compliance, and enhancing client service within the firm's dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing subscription documents for alternative investments such as private equity funds, private real estate funds, and hedge funds. The associate will also handle follow-up inquiries, identify and implement operational process improvements, and work closely with the Wealth Management Team to satisfy Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) requirements. Additional duties involve tracking investment deadlines, monitoring capital activity, and maintaining accurate client records.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience in alternative investments or wealth management. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential. Experience with trust, estate, and legal entity structures, as well as familiarity with AML/KYC compliance, is also required.

The position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring three days in the office per week, with the option to work remotely for two days. The annual base salary ranges from $75,000 to $80,000, complemented by potential annual cash bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
