The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve identity verification processes, risk decisioning frameworks, and overall member experience, ensuring Chime remains secure against financial crimes.

The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in financial crimes, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), KYC, sanctions, and fraud, preferably in digital or online onboarding environments. Experience in contributing to risk strategy, policy, or control frameworks is essential. Familiarity with identity verification and customer onboarding controls, as well as exposure to fraud detection strategies and scoring logic used to assess risk, are important qualifications.
