App Services Summer Summer Intern 2026

The App Services Summer Intern will join the Enterprise Applications team at CareDx, Inc., a leading precision medicine solutions company focused on transplant patient care. This role offers hands-on experience in modernizing internal lab systems that support critical healthcare operations, providing exposure to cloud technologies and Python development within a regulated healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities include analyzing existing systems and workflows, documenting current applications, and assisting in redesigning legacy functionalities into modern, cloud-based microservices. The intern will develop and configure microservices using Python, deploy services via Azure App Services, write and run unit tests, and collaborate with software engineering and quality assurance teams on integration and testing.

Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, Engineering, or a related field. A strong interest in healthcare technology and system integration is essential, along with the ability to work independently and manage tasks within defined timelines. Basic proficiency in SQL, scripting, or data analysis tools is required, and familiarity with software testing or prior experience with Python-based development is preferred.

This internship offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20 to $25.
