Area Manager (WM)

As an Area Manager at Wolt Market, you will oversee the operations of multiple grocery delivery stores across Malta, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and efficient processes. Wolt Market is Wolt's own grocery store concept, delivering a wide range of products swiftly to customers' doorsteps. This role is integral to our mission of redefining convenience and setting new standards in the grocery delivery industry.

Your primary responsibilities include managing end-to-end store operations, focusing on safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and productivity. You will lead and support a team of 6-8 Store Managers and Store Team Leads, driving continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing store layouts, and enhancing picking and packing processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for hiring, training, and motivating store leaders to achieve and exceed business targets.

The ideal candidate possesses operations management experience in retail, distribution, or platform economy environments, coupled with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel. Experience in leading teams within store settings or similar fields is essential. Full professional proficiency in English is required, along with the ability to act swiftly and maintain attention to detail in a dynamic environment. A proactive and pragmatic attitude, with resilience to adapt to changes, is highly valued.
