Associate Attorney

Tyson & Mendes LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their Philadelphia, PA office. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a national litigation firm known for its innovative approach to insurance defense and trial advocacy. The Associate Attorney will develop compelling case strategies, manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and trials independently. Collaboration with attorneys and staff at all levels, maintaining professional communication with clients, and mentoring junior attorneys are key aspects of the role.

Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and hold an active bar license in Pennsylvania. A minimum of 1–8 years of litigation experience, including case strategy, depositions, and trial preparation, is required. Prior insurance defense experience is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, along with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, is essential.

The base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $160,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Attorneys are eligible for an annual billable hours bonus ranging from $10,000, with additional tiers aggregating $7,500.
