The Associate Credit Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and updating new and existing customer credit files, requiring analytical, quantitative, and technical skills. Key responsibilities include handling a portfolio of assigned accounts, gathering and analyzing credit and other data to determine impact on business operations, making recommendations for credit limits based on various factors, evaluating and implementing internal and external credit scoring models, participating in projects to develop recommendations for credit policy, interfacing with customers and other departments to develop strategies to prevent and correct problems, representing the department at sales meetings to educate salespeople and customers about LG credit policy, visiting customers as required to evaluate operations and obtain financial statement data, pursuing the Certified Credit Executive designation through NACM, and completing other related duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. While no formal experience is required, the candidate must have basic knowledge and understanding of financial statements. A strong motivation for working as a credit analyst, building knowledge and understanding of financial statement analysis and credit work responsibilities is essential. The candidate should possess strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills. Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is a must.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 USD.
