The Associate Director, Global Operations Client Leadership at WPP Media is a pivotal role within the adidas global team, focusing on driving a significant media transformation project. This position involves collaborating with diverse international teams across WPP and adidas to build a world-class operations function that sets industry standards. The role reports to the Global Head of Brand Media and is based in London, United Kingdom.

Key responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy and quality of reporting and media tool usage, coordinating and supporting market engagement programs, leading the rollout and ongoing support of adidas Open, and showcasing the progress and value delivered to adidas. The role also involves managing a team of two individuals, setting roles and responsibilities, developing personal growth plans, and ensuring consistency in workflows across regional markets, local teams, and global teams. Additionally, the Associate Director will support the global commercial team with requests and ensure all operations processes comply with company policies and industry standards.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of media tools and media planning workflows, excellent written and oral communication skills, and essential operational and project management experience. Strong organizational skills, proficiency in people management and development, and experience in an agency or similar environment are also required. A comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end campaign delivery process, strong project management and stakeholder management skills, and an accessible, collaborative leadership style are essential. Experience in root cause problem analysis and leading continuous improvement initiatives is also desirable.
