Associate Director, Statistical Programming

The Associate Director, Statistical Programming at MapLight Therapeutics is a senior leadership opportunity within the clinical development team. This role plays an important part in furthering the company’s mission of advancing treatments for CNS disorders, working in a cross-functional environment that supports the progression of clinical programs. The position is integral to providing technical and strategic direction to the team, ensuring high quality programming deliverables for regulatory submissions and clinical study reports.

Day-to-day, the Associate Director leads the statistical programming group, overseeing the development, validation, and dissemination of datasets, tables, listings, and figures. Responsibilities include managing timelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and liaising closely with biostatistics and data management teams. The role also involves mentoring and directing staff, optimizing internal processes, and overseeing outsourced programming activities.

Candidates must have a strong background in statistical programming, preferably with at least eight years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry and several years in a leadership or supervisory role. Proficiency in SAS, CDISC standards (SDTM/ADaM), and clinical trial data is required. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong technical skills, a high level of organization, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to drive project success.
