As Associate General Counsel, you would be an integral part of our legal team, reporting to the General Counsel and working with us to provide expert legal counsel while supporting the smooth, efficient operation of our marketplace business. This is the perfect role for an experienced lawyer with an entrepreneurial mindset, incredible attention to detail, and a passion for learning and growing, who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
In this role, your responsibilities would include:
- Advising the business on a wide range of complex product and commercial matters.
- Leading the drafting and negotiation of strategic commercial agreements.
- Overseeing the review and drafting of template agreements governing the marketplace's operations.
- Advising clients and key stakeholders on complex legal issues, marketing and operational matters, and business strategy, and manage/assess risk in connection with the company’s products and commercial relationships.
- Proactively managing large-scale projects and ‘go to market’ launches with long-term goals.
