Candidates for this position should possess a Juris Doctorate and be admitted to the bar in at least one U.S. state. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required, with a preference for those with in-house experience at a pharmaceutical company or a background in a nationally recognized law firm specializing in life sciences. Expertise in FDA regulations, including clinical trial design, regulatory exclusivities, orphan drug designations, and combination products, is essential. Experience interacting with government health authorities and familiarity with policies advancing innovation in the industry are highly desirable.
The compensation for this role ranges from $182,000 to $346,000 annually, reflecting AbbVie's commitment to attracting top talent.
