As an Associate Principal in CRA's Energy practice, you will work closely with leading academics, manage the research process, and supervise, train, and mentor junior analysts. Your role will involve conducting research in a supportive, team-oriented environment and acting as a primary point of contact for clients. You will assist in developing and presenting client deliverables, including expert reports summarizing opinions, conclusions, and recommendations, as well as third-party financial, market, and industry data. Consulting with attorneys and other clients in industry and government on a wide variety of finance, strategy, and economics issues will also be part of your responsibilities.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in economics, finance, or a similar analytical discipline, with an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of five to seven years of professional experience is necessary, along with a strong interest in and knowledge of the energy industry. Experience with energy or environmental industries is highly desirable. Excellent presentation skills, writing ability, strong problem-solving abilities, and resourcefulness are essential. The role also requires the ability to work well in a team environment and a willingness to provide mentorship and supervision to junior staff members. Previous project and client management experience is required.
