Audiovisual Media Apprentice - The Orchard
The Orchard, a leading music company specializing in label and artist distribution and services, is offering two apprenticeship positions for Audiovisual Media Clerks (m/f/d) at its Berlin location, starting August 1, 2026. With over 47 offices worldwide, The Orchard provides innovative technology, transparent data analysis, and expertise to help labels and artists reach and grow their audiences. The GSA team, composed of music enthusiasts and experts, supports creatives in navigating the dynamic local and global music industry for sustainable growth.
During this diverse apprenticeship, you will gain comprehensive insights into the operations of a music distributor. As part of a team, you will assist in supporting and developing our labels, artists, and partners, contributing to the operational implementation of digital and physical music releases. Collaborating with the Sales Team, you will prepare pitches for new releases to optimize their placement on digital streaming platforms. Additionally, you will help manage our social media channels, enhancing your knowledge in social media and digital marketing. Practical experience in product management, physical supply chain management, and controlling will also be part of your training. Furthermore, you will participate in organizing events and handle administrative tasks, working closely with national and international teams, external service providers, and our labels.
To be successful in this role, you should have completed your (technical) high school diploma and be eager to start a career in the music industry. A passion for current music trends and an interest in the economic and organizational processes behind music releases are essential. Strong organizational skills, enjoyment in communication and collaboration with artists, labels, and partners, and the ability to maintain an overview of long-term projects are important. Excellent German and English language skills, initial experience with Google Workplace or MS Office, and a pronounced passion for music complete your profile.
