Bank Reconciliation Analyst
The Bank Reconciliation Analyst at SRS Acquiom is responsible for performing accurate and timely reconciliations across multiple domestic and international bank accounts and currencies. This role ensures that bank activities are properly recorded, discrepancies are investigated and resolved, and strong financial controls are maintained during month-end close processes. The analyst plays a key role in ensuring data integrity, supporting internal and external reporting, and maintaining reliable documentation to support business continuity.
Key responsibilities include preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for the Operations department across various financial institutions and currencies. The analyst will reconcile transaction activity between bank statements and internal ledgers, identifying and resolving discrepancies such as outstanding deposits, wires, ACH transactions, FX variances, bank fees, and timing differences. Additionally, the role involves assisting with month-end and quarter-end close processes, including the preparation of journal entries related to cash and FX activity, and identifying opportunities to improve reconciliation processes, automation, and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of financial operations or analyst experience, with a focus on bank reconciliations. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience. Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with formulas and analysis, are required, with VBA experience considered a plus. Experience with complex ERP systems and designing effective workflows or workarounds is also desirable. The candidate should demonstrate strong operational risk awareness, the ability to manage critical timelines and meet tight deadlines, and possess a proactive, analytical mindset with high attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
