Banking & Finance Lawyer

Clifford Chance, a leading international law firm with over 30 offices worldwide, is seeking a Junior Associate to join its Banking & Finance Team in Istanbul. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic team that provides global expertise in corporate/M&A, finance, and capital markets, serving major domestic and international businesses active in the Turkish market.

As a Junior Associate, you will engage in a variety of banking and finance transactions, including project finance, general banking, and capital markets. Your responsibilities will encompass drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing strategic advice to clients. You will collaborate closely with senior lawyers and clients, contributing to the successful execution of complex financial deals.

The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of post-qualification experience in banking and finance, particularly in project finance, banking transactions, and capital markets. Fluency in both English and Turkish, with excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills, is essential. A solid academic record and the ability to work effectively within a team are also important.
