As a Business Development Manager for Australia at Lighthouse, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence within the independent hotel market. In this role, you will actively seek and develop new business opportunities, manage outbound sales activities, and build strong relationships with independent hotel clients. Your responsibilities will include selling Lighthouse’s Indy product suite—comprising Pricing Manager, Channel Manager, Reservation Manager, and Booking Engine—by understanding customer needs, providing tailored solutions, negotiating contracts, and closing agreements to achieve sales targets. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Sales Development Representative team to identify opportunities and attend industry events to generate leads and enhance market presence.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a full sales cycle role, exceptional command of the English language, and a background in business development or sales within the hospitality or SaaS industry. A strong understanding of independent hotel operations and their technology needs is essential, along with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas. Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce, excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, and a self-motivated, results-oriented mindset are also required.
