Business Development Manager, Content & Services
As a Business Development Manager in Content & Services at LG Electronics, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and expanding partnerships with North American content, media, and entertainment companies. Your primary focus will be on integrating and distributing their services across LG's product platforms, including LG Channels, LG Smart World, and the ThinQ AI platform. This position offers the opportunity to influence content-related innovations within LG's webOS Smart TV operating system.
Key responsibilities include negotiating and executing agreements with major entertainment companies to feature their services on LG devices. You will manage the launch of premium applications, coordinate advertising inventory for LG Channels, and provide quarterly revenue review reports to executives and partners to drive growth. Additionally, you will lead cross-functional teams and conduct business, marketing, and technical discussions during quarterly business reviews.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and at least eight years of progressive experience in over-the-top (OTT) content business development, with a focus on negotiating content distribution deals. An MBA is preferred. Direct experience in at least two content categories—such as TV, movies/film, sports, or music/audio—is highly desirable. Strong negotiation skills, knowledge of the content and media distribution ecosystem, and excellent presentation abilities are essential.
LG Electronics offers a competitive salary range of $130,000 to $155,000 USD for this role.
