Business Development Representative
The Business Development Representative (BDR) at Braze plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's future revenue success. As a key member of the Business Development team, the BDR is at the forefront of identifying, understanding, and assisting potential customers in enhancing or transforming their customer engagement strategies. In this role, the BDR is responsible for researching target accounts, developing and executing communication plans through various channels such as phone, email, LinkedIn, and video, to generate new business opportunities. The BDR engages with C-suite executives to discuss their business goals and customer engagement challenges, delivering value-oriented pitches and solution demonstrations. Managing personal meetings and collaborating with internal stakeholders are also key aspects of the day-to-day responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is adaptable, action-oriented, and possesses strong research skills. They should be precise and engaging communicators, both written and verbal, with a creative and problem-solving mindset. Intellectual curiosity, self-awareness, intrinsic motivation, and strong organizational skills are essential. Braze offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $42,600 to $55,000 per year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $71,000 and $92,000 per year, which includes bonus or commission.
