Business Development Representative
Garner Health is seeking a Business Development Representative to join its revenue team. This role involves initial outreach to targeted accounts and partners, working closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive business growth. The position reports directly to the Business Development Manager and offers the flexibility of remote work with occasional travel to the company's headquarters in New York City.
Key responsibilities include generating qualified meetings and building a robust sales pipeline, meeting or exceeding established activity metrics, and collaborating with sales teammates to develop targeted lists and call strategies. The role also involves researching accounts to identify key targets, conducting high-level discovery conversations, managing activities using Salesforce, and working with Growth Marketing to drive attendance at regional and national events.
The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience, possess positive and energetic phone skills, and demonstrate excellent listening and writing abilities. Experience with inbound and outbound calling, proficiency in Salesforce, Outreach, and ZoomInfo, and a background in healthcare are advantageous. A willingness to take initiative and contribute to the company's success, along with a desire to be part of a high-performing, mission-driven team, is essential.
The base salary for this position is $80,000, with additional commission eligibility. Compensation will depend on various factors, including qualifications and skills. The role also offers participation in equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including flexible PTO, medical, dental, and vision plan options, 401(k), and Teladoc Health services.
