Lawmatics is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team in La Jolla, San Diego. As a BDR, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients, playing a pivotal role in expanding our customer base and driving the growth of our legal CRM platform. This hybrid role requires on-site presence from Monday to Wednesday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

In this position, your primary responsibilities will include identifying and researching potential clients within the legal industry, utilizing tools such as LinkedIn, Salesforce, Salesloft, and Gong. You will engage prospects through various channels, including cold calls, emails, social media, and video, to introduce them to Lawmatics and assess their needs. Additionally, you will qualify leads by understanding their pain points and determining if our solutions align with their requirements, effectively promoting the value of our demos to generate qualified sales opportunities for our Account Executives. Collaboration with Account Executives and the marketing team is essential to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads and to optimize the performance of our inbound and outbound campaigns. Maintaining accurate records of interactions and performance metrics using CRM tools like Salesforce is also a key aspect of the role.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a BDR/SDR role, with legal tech experience being a plus but not required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build rapport quickly and convey value effectively. We are looking for self-starters who are motivated by goals, resilient in the face of challenges, and comfortable navigating CRM systems and other sales tools. A high-energy, positive attitude, and accountability are key attributes we value in our team members.
