Business Intelligence Analyst
The Business Intelligence Analyst at ProShares plays a pivotal role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decision-making across the firm. This position is integral to the Business Intelligence team, collaborating closely with various business stakeholders to develop tools, analyses, and dashboards that illuminate performance trends and opportunities. Key responsibilities include partnering with BI team members and business stakeholders to gather requirements and contribute to both ad hoc analyses and long-term intelligence projects. The analyst will write basic data queries and utilize BI tools such as Spotfire, Tableau, or Google Analytics to build dashboards and visualizations that reveal key performance trends and business drivers. Additionally, the role involves identifying and tracking KPIs across business lines, supporting improvements to data collection methods, and managing administrative aspects of BI platforms.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field, along with at least one year of professional experience in data analytics, business analysis, marketing insights, or consulting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as proficiency with Excel. Experience with SQL, R, Python, or BI visualization tools is a plus. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, the ability to communicate findings clearly, and a team-oriented, self-starting attitude.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $75,000, excluding discretionary bonus compensation. Total compensation may vary based on experience, role, location, department, and individual performance.
