Business Intelligence Analyst
The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a pivotal role within WPP Media's Data & Intelligence team, focusing on developing, maintaining, and enhancing core dashboards and reporting capabilities. This position is integral to transforming complex data into clear, actionable, and visually engaging insights, thereby making data accessible to a wide range of stakeholders. The analyst will collaborate closely with the Investment team and business stakeholders across the group to understand analytical needs and translate raw data into intuitive, interactive BI solutions.
Key responsibilities include architecting, building, and continuously improving interactive and visually compelling dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Tableau. The analyst will utilize expert-level SQL skills to query, extract, clean, and transform data from various complex data sources, including Snowflake, to support dashboard development and ad hoc analysis. Additionally, the role involves partnering with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective, data-driven BI solutions, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data within BI deliverables.
The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen with the ability to actively listen to stakeholders and translate complex business questions into clear data requirements. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with critical thinking abilities to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights. Proficiency in SQL for complex data extraction and analysis from large datasets is required, as well as proven experience with leading Business Intelligence platforms for dashboard development and data visualization. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
