This full-time, in-person role is integral to our mission of providing compassionate support and exceptional results for individuals navigating Social Security cases.
As a Case Manager, you will conduct initial case reviews and assessments, gather relevant information and documentation, and evaluate the potential for successful Social Security claims. You will maintain consistent and professional communication with clients throughout the case process, providing updates on case status, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Coordinating with attorneys and support staff, you will ensure all aspects of the case are handled efficiently and effectively, including scheduling appointments, organizing case files, and maintaining accurate records. Additionally, you will assist attorneys in preparing legal documents for hearings, draft correspondence, and other case-related materials. Your responsibilities will also include obtaining medical records, coordinating medical appointments and treatments, and communicating with healthcare providers to ensure all necessary information is collected and documented. You will liaise with insurance companies and adjusters to gather information, negotiate settlements, and ensure proper handling of claims. Regularly reviewing case status and progress, you will identify any potential issues or delays and take appropriate action to address them. Assisting in the negotiation of settlements and facilitating the closing of cases, you will ensure that all required documentation is completed and clients receive their compensation. Ensuring compliance standards, you will maintain client confidentiality and adhere to professional best practices.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in case management, preferably within a personal injury law firm. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential, as is the ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, attorneys, insurance representatives, and healthcare providers. Familiarity with legal terminology and personal injury law, as well as experience with case management software and other relevant technologies, is preferred. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct are crucial. A self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving abilities, will thrive in this role.
Compensation for this position includes a competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience, a discretionary bonus, and comprehensive benefits. Benefits include health and dental insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) matching program.
