Client Sales Director, TX State Agencies
Arista Networks is seeking a Client Sales Director to lead consultative selling and solution development for Texas State Agency accounts. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, including engineering, legal, and marketing, to deliver tailored networking solutions that meet the unique needs of state agencies. The position is based in Austin, Texas, and reports to a Regional Sales Manager or Area VP of Sales.
The Client Sales Director will identify, develop, and close sales opportunities across Arista's product portfolio, including Data Center and Campus Networking platforms, Cloud-based Wi-Fi, POE switches, the Arista Routing Platform, Cloud Vision (network automation and telemetry), and DMF Fabric Monitoring solutions. Responsibilities include establishing productive relationships with key personnel in assigned agencies, creating and executing targeted account plans, and managing business priorities across a named account territory.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and have a minimum of 10 years of sales experience focusing on large Texas State Agency customers. Essential qualifications include demonstrated leadership skills for cross-functional team management, proven ability to navigate end-user requirements through contracting processes, and working knowledge of networking technologies such as routing, switching, SDN, SD-WAN, and network automation solutions. Strong relationship-building skills and a track record of exceeding sales targets are also required.
