Senior Mechanical Engineer
Arista Networks is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop high-density network switches tailored for data center environments. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering innovative networking solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end mechanical design process of network modules and chassis. This includes creating 3D CAD models using Creo, generating detailed drawings, and ensuring designs meet structural, thermal, EMC, and manufacturability requirements. You will also coordinate with electrical engineers to integrate PCB designs, conduct design reviews, and work closely with contract manufacturers to address design for manufacturability (DFM) concerns.
The ideal candidate will possess a BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in ProEngineer (PTC Creo) is essential, and experience with thermal simulation tools, sheet metal and plastic part design, and familiarity with product lifecycle management tools like Agile is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are crucial for success in this role.
Arista offers a competitive compensation package, with a base salary ranging from $130,000 to $200,000, depending on experience and location.
