Clinical Account Manager- Richmond, Virginia
The Clinical Account Manager (CAM) at Ceribell, Inc. is responsible for launching new hospitals and driving the organic growth of existing hospital accounts. This role involves providing ongoing medical education to physicians and clinical staff, utilizing clinical information as the foundation for growth. The position is based in Richmond, Virginia, and requires 60% travel, approximately three days per week.
Key responsibilities include expanding the use of Ceribell's products to additional acute or critical care centers within the existing customer base and collaborating with the local Territory Manager to introduce Ceribell at new customer sites. The CAM will drive new product and technology introductions for existing customers, build advocacy within facilities using hospital data to validate and build interest, and develop a qualified lead funnel through formal presentations, peer-to-peer education, and physician training. Additionally, the role involves managing upgrades and departmental expansions within the existing install base and supporting new account launches through strong project management skills.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of recent critical care sales experience or 5 years of medical device or pharmaceutical sales experience, or be a registered nurse with industry experience supporting sales teams. Essential skills include excellent communication, relationship building, creative and effective problem-solving, and the ability to prioritize strategically. The candidate should be able to assess and understand different stakeholders' needs, adjust strategies to achieve desired outcomes, and confidently challenge the status quo to influence meaningful change through consensus building. A driven and coachable attitude, along with high integrity, is essential. Preferred qualifications include start-up experience, experience with disruptive technology, medical device experience, neuro ICU clinical experience, and sales experience.
Compensation for this role includes a base salary of $100,000, with on-target earnings (OTE) of $180,000.
