Axiom is seeking experienced attorneys to join our team as Clinical Trial, Commercial & R&D Counsel, supporting legal teams within the pharmaceutical and health systems sectors. This role focuses on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial and research-related agreements, with an emphasis on global transactions, Clinical Research Organizations (CROs), and research & development (R&D) activities. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements such as Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs), and Consulting Agreements. The role also involves providing legal support for global transactions and cross-border collaborations, advising on engagements with CROs, handling R&D-related legal work including pre-clinical and sponsored research agreements, and supporting licensing and collaboration agreements within the life sciences space. Additionally, the counsel will partner with business stakeholders on strategic and operational initiatives and contribute to structuring and negotiating research collaborations and related transactions.

Candidates must possess a J.D. and active bar membership in good standing. Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or health system sectors is required, with a preference for a blend of these experiences. Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following priority areas is essential: global transactional experience, working with CROs, or R&D legal work including pre-clinical and sponsored research. Familiarity with intellectual property transactions in the life sciences space, experience supporting licensing, collaboration, and research agreements, and strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are also required.

The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles ranges from $104,500 to $325,000 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
