Closing Paralegal
The Closing Paralegal will be an integral member of the Nonprofit Finance Fund's (NFF) Legal and Compliance team, supporting the organization's mission to provide financial solutions to nonprofits. This role involves collaborating closely with attorneys, loan officers, and other team members to ensure the successful closing of loan transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate and corporate law, with a passion for supporting nonprofit organizations.
Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing closing documents, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate loan closings, conducting due diligence, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. The Closing Paralegal will also assist in drafting and negotiating loan documents, managing closing schedules, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
The successful candidate will possess a paralegal certificate and have at least three years of experience in a legal environment, preferably in real estate or corporate law. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment are also required.
