In this role, the Cloud Engineering Team Lead will be responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement by providing mentorship and constructive feedback to engineers. The position involves driving team performance by resolving bottlenecks, promoting accountability, and ensuring consistent delivery and resource efficiency. A key aspect of the role is leading the adoption of AI technologies within the team, enhancing both daily operations and large-scale projects. The Team Lead will also define and enforce cloud engineering best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and operational excellence across the organization.
Candidates should have a proven track record in leading and delivering complex projects, with experience in managing public cloud environments. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies, particularly with tools like Terraform, is essential. Experience with CI/CD tools, building pipelines, and troubleshooting is also required. A strong understanding of cloud architectures, including multi-cloud environments, and containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker is necessary. The ideal candidate will possess a customer-focused, commercially aware, and data-informed approach to decision-making, with the ability to manage cross-team dependencies and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
