CMBS Surveillance - Analyst (PA)
KBRA is seeking an Analyst to join our growing commercial real estate (CRE) credit ratings team in the Dresher, PA office. The team monitors a portfolio exceeding $470 billion in transactions, including CMBS, Freddie Mac multifamily securitizations, CRE collateralized loan obligations, and single-family rental asset classes. Our primary objective is to maintain high-quality credit ratings through detailed analysis and timely reporting.
The Analyst will lead end-to-end surveillance of an assigned portfolio of commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) in accordance with organizational guidelines. Responsibilities include preparing and presenting analyses to committees, publishing transaction reports, developing detailed cash flow analyses for commercial real estate properties, and assessing credit risk in collaboration with team members. Additional duties involve supporting senior team members with property cash flows, managing information flow during the review process, and participating in projects to enhance efficiency.
Candidates should possess a B.A. or B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commercial Real Estate. Preferred qualifications include 0-2 years of business experience within financial services, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, is essential. The ability to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate effectively with team members is crucial. Relevant experience in Commercial Real Estate, Rating Agencies, or CMBS is preferred, along with familiarity with the CREFC Investor Reporting Package.
The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000 to $75,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related considerations.
