Commercial Contracts Attorney
Axiom Talent Platform is seeking a versatile Commercial Contracts Attorney to support a major insurance company in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves providing practical legal support across various commercial contracting and cross-functional legal matters, including vendor agreements, SaaS contracts, and real estate transactions. The position addresses a current team bandwidth gap, focusing on managing overflow work and collaborating with multiple stakeholders and business units.
Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating third-party agreements such as vendor, IT/SaaS, and service provider contracts. The attorney will handle medium-complexity commercial agreements and corporate transactions, provide legal support for real estate matters like lease amendments and renewals, and coordinate with outside counsel on larger issues. Additionally, the role involves supporting internal groups including HR, IT, Claims & Service Providers, and Real Estate, as well as assisting with project-based and overflow work related to contract management and process improvement.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in commercial contracts, with a background in working across multiple stakeholders and business functions such as IT, HR, Claims, and Real Estate. Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential. A JD or equivalent degree with active bar membership in good standing is required.
